Day 30: Family

I am the oldest of 2 girls. My little sister is named Abby and she's a Senior in high school. We have a mom and a dad who are pretty cool and they take us to cool places like Oregon. 

For my senior trip, we went to the coast of Oregon and had an excellent time relaxing, seeing the sites, eating incredible food. You can read all about it HERE. I was having some boy troubles then, but it didn't stop me from enjoying a vacation with my family.

Since then, I've added so many more people to my family just by falling in love with one guy (who, btw, isn't the one from the troubles). Now I have a husband, 4 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law, and a new parents-in-law that I love spending some time with. My family tripled in size over night. I don't get to see them all at once because they all live in different places, but I get to travel around and see them, which makes it double fun. 

I love my family and I'm so grateful for all of them. Yay!

p.s. Since Sean got some new movies yesterday, I got new pencils and canvases to draw with! So I'm working on a project and I hope it turns out. It's looking pretty good, so I think it's going to work.

but no srsly. this is kinda just gonna be a catching up post. duh.
This has been a manic insanic week full of oddities and whatever. classes happened and i made some friends in my French class and work is a good time. but this weekend is probably what i want to focus on..

okay. so Friday i went to institute and that was good and will hopefully help me with my resolution i forgot to post on my resolutions post about being more spiritual. then i changed and went to work for a long time. then i came home and then went to dinner with my ward friends Bethany, Marcus, and Marcus's roommate Jason to cafe paesan. it was yummy.. i had a thai salad and i ate most of it!

Then Saturday, me and Jayme went and bought a bunch of party stuff and that night i had a batman half birthday party! basically i just wanted cake and to watch batman. and that's what i got! it was actually a lot a lot of fun. i met a bunch of people. Like this new guy in my ward and one of Jamie's (not to be confused with Jayme) friends Ethan and Annie's friend (who might be in our ward?) named BJ.

then sunday was normal except i found out that Chelsea Hightower's little brother just moved into our ward and she was at church with us except i missed like 2/3 of church for a fellowship meeting... eeks. But yeah! and uhm oh yeah there was this cute guy at ward prayer who i'm hoping is actually in our ward and not just a visitor... that'd be super sad. for me.

yesterday was MLKJr. day. So no classes or work. So i woke up and got ready and then went to Zupa's and Target with the aforementioned Ethan guy. it was good.. i bought a sweet new slap bracelet watch and some veg and ranch.. then we came back to my apartment and chatted for a while and then he left and i went to Walmart with Erin and her roomies and bought some muffins and pepperoni and a glade plug-in and some batteries and some other stuff.

then we went to Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works. and i bought some stuff and then chilled at Erin's until i had to go to FHE. so i drove home and put my stuff away real fast and then went to FHE. Which was our bishop talking about his art career and how it is tied into the church and it was super impressive. sometimes i think i can art but then i see things like his and i'm like... not an art. but this is my latest attempt!:

It's not the most amazing but i think it's good. and yes.. it's the Doctor again. you know me... but i'm working on something that Emily Mensing photographed. and it's not the Doctor! i will hopefully be able to finish it soon.. but i can't promise anything.

Flirt Boy

I drew this picture today at work because i was bored and wanted to show my co-worker, Jen, what the guy who flirted with me yesterday looked like (i know i already posted today, but i thought this needed some recognition.)

I had to edit it to make the pen show up more. and i can't remember what his face looked like... and i'm not good at my own face so i left them blank. but we both do have glasses.

I spend my evenings

drawing and blogging. I know! She draws? well that's arts. uhm and i'm kinda proud of these two. namely the second one but the first still is cooler than nothing. and blah blah yeah. oh. and i edited them on picnik a little so the pencil would stand out more because i don't have a scanner and my camera isn't all the best.

this is a guy who's kinda nerdy but i still like him because i think he's me but in a boy way. also, i didn't have room for it on my page, but imagine him with a super rad watch.

This one is kind of inspired by this pepsi can sitting on my desk and my love of fishies and i guess cages are metaphors for something. i don't have to explain all my art right? i'll leave this to ya'll's imagination.... do do dooodleeeedoloooo (mystical music)

Break on Through.

yeah. still in that 60's kick... hah. well, that's okay because there's so much to love.

I can't believe it's almost OVER!! I'm getting more and more excited every day. Seriously. All the nervousness and anxiety is gone. All the AP and CE tests are over, all i've gotta do is make it through class without killing myself from boredom and i'm home-free. WOO!! Let's see.. i've still got seminary graduation, baccalaureate, senior banquet, senior panoramic pic, senior ditch day, GRADUATION, and All night Party! Yip!

We're going up to snowbird soon because my ma's boss is letting us borrow her condo. It's gonna just be an awesome time relaxing, cooking, playing games, looking at scenery, staying warm (snuggies!woo!), and bonding. I can't wait! And plus missing class is always the bomb.

I've been taking a lot of naps lately... like i slept for at least 4 hours today after school.. well... it was more like 2 (let's see... from about 3 to 4:40.. yeah. 2 sounds right.) And I only did some homework. like writing a letter about an addiction simulation i went through. I will NEVER get into drugs or alcohol. Way too much work hiding it and i definitely don't want to spend money on crap like that.

I also wrote a bucket list. or part of one... I'm going to finish it and post it up here cuz who doesn't love a bucket list? 'Cept I wanna call it something like "List o' Mania" (lol, liztomania by pheonix...) or "Ellen's List of Achievable Possibilities" or something. something good. Any suggestions, feel free to tell me. like a comment or something. ya know.

I'm doing a portrait for my drawing class and after thinkin bout it and deciding I should do something meaningful for my mom or family or something... so i'm doing a picture of my Grandma Jones when she was 16. Why didn't she pass on her incredible beauty to me? I mean, 16 YEARS OLD. i'll post a pic or something sometime. cuz she's just so great.

OH. How could I forget?! I went to Lagoon with my mates: Hannah (for her clogging competition), Erin, Maggie, Mandy, Karlie, Rachel, and Ashley. We had a BALL! I can't believe I actually went on rides. I'm such a wuss and I went on rides!! WOO! I went on Bombora (twice. seriously, it rocks my pansy-world.), the White Roller Coast (why. why do i do this to myself? worst.), The Bat (meh. I got sick. but that's norm for me), Flying Aces (last time, i threw up. This time, minimal nausea. but still some...), Space Scrambler (twice. fave.), Sky Ride (hate. heights.), Tidal Wave, Odysea, Tilt-a-whirl, Musik Express, Bumper Cars (twice.) and ate yummy food and watched everyone's purses a bunch. We saw about 0 hot guys and 47 adorable babies. I guess we're just maturing, ya know. Anyway, had loads of fun. a loads.

Anyway. I'm going to bed.
