ONE WEEK?!

Holy crap. Since when was Christmas in one week? I feel sorely unprepared even though I have like 80% of all the gifts I'm needing. And that 20% are things that I'm probably going to pick up tonight while we're out finishing our Christmas card rounds.

Everything just feels so... weird. I'm excited for Christmas and can't wait for it to come, but it doesn't feel like it's only days away, but months. I guess I've just been so busy not being busy that I've missed it. We've been to numerous Christmas parties (2 ward parties, 2 work parties) and still have a few to go. Tis the season, alright. Just weird.

Aside from all that, the Donners are doing well. Like I said, we're attending parties and have only seen The Hobbit: The Desolation OF Smaug twice. It's just been a good time. Anyway... I think I'm just feeling brief this month.

I'm off to pinterest to perouse the pages and pages of pretty pins. Either that, or to do another crossword puzzle because I'm an 80 year old woman... (not really).

Catch up and mustard?

but no srsly. this is kinda just gonna be a catching up post. duh.
This has been a manic insanic week full of oddities and whatever. classes happened and i made some friends in my French class and work is a good time. but this weekend is probably what i want to focus on..

okay. so Friday i went to institute and that was good and will hopefully help me with my resolution i forgot to post on my resolutions post about being more spiritual. then i changed and went to work for a long time. then i came home and then went to dinner with my ward friends Bethany, Marcus, and Marcus's roommate Jason to cafe paesan. it was yummy.. i had a thai salad and i ate most of it!

Then Saturday, me and Jayme went and bought a bunch of party stuff and that night i had a batman half birthday party! basically i just wanted cake and to watch batman. and that's what i got! it was actually a lot a lot of fun. i met a bunch of people. Like this new guy in my ward and one of Jamie's (not to be confused with Jayme) friends Ethan and Annie's friend (who might be in our ward?) named BJ.

then sunday was normal except i found out that Chelsea Hightower's little brother just moved into our ward and she was at church with us except i missed like 2/3 of church for a fellowship meeting... eeks. But yeah! and uhm oh yeah there was this cute guy at ward prayer who i'm hoping is actually in our ward and not just a visitor... that'd be super sad. for me.

yesterday was MLKJr. day. So no classes or work. So i woke up and got ready and then went to Zupa's and Target with the aforementioned Ethan guy. it was good.. i bought a sweet new slap bracelet watch and some veg and ranch.. then we came back to my apartment and chatted for a while and then he left and i went to Walmart with Erin and her roomies and bought some muffins and pepperoni and a glade plug-in and some batteries and some other stuff.

then we went to Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works. and i bought some stuff and then chilled at Erin's until i had to go to FHE. so i drove home and put my stuff away real fast and then went to FHE. Which was our bishop talking about his art career and how it is tied into the church and it was super impressive. sometimes i think i can art but then i see things like his and i'm like... not an art. but this is my latest attempt!:

It's not the most amazing but i think it's good. and yes.. it's the Doctor again. you know me... but i'm working on something that Emily Mensing photographed. and it's not the Doctor! i will hopefully be able to finish it soon.. but i can't promise anything.

anyway.. time to get ready for work!

Chocolate Bunny,

Chocolate bunny.... being ate by me, chocolate bunny. (to the tune of baby monkey. yeah, the grammar is off but that's the only way it'd fit.)

• I wonder if i still gotta do this bullet thing.. i'm not going to take any chances though because i want to go to sleep. i have to get all the sleep i can before these ap tests. did you know they're NEXT WEEK? whack, yo. total whack. i didn't even realize till today. my first one is monday, the second on thursday, the last on the wednesday of the week after and then i have my ce math test the next day (aka thursday). so so much. and i'm expected to finish all this crappin' yearbook junk too. WHY don't you make the ones who are loafing around do all the work? or at least help carry my burden?? I have SO MUCH CRAP TO DO. ugh.


• plus i'm still on the lookout for a job. i think that i will be granted one after ap tests are over. I believe Heavenly Father knows how stressed I am and how much i need a job and I think He knows best and will help me through one thing at a time. He knows what i'm going through so why not trust Him?


• Easter was yesterday. i got 20 bucks, some chocolate, and some gum. my parents bought me floor mats for my car in exchange for 18 of those dollars. so the total comes to 1 handful mini chocolate bars, 1 (mostly eaten) german chocolate bunny, 2 packs of gum, full set of car floor mats, and 2 dollars. it's cool.


• I went to a party on saturday. it was cool. a bunch of high school seniors, eating food, listening to music (ryan shupe and the rubber band - mmm... nate the drummer....) and watching nutty cloggers (disco sucks), dancing to wack music (and some cool stuff mixed in. but a small amount.) and driving to ogden and back. wasn't my first time on the freeway, but definitely the farthest distance i've ever driven without my family in the car, shrieking and grabbing at the wheel when i accidentally steer too far in my lane.. i was a new driver, what can i say? it happens. and now i'm much much better and i'm not driving a minivan. nuff' said.


• i'm going to bed. it's going to be a cool sleep, yo. (what? i'm in a whacko mood.... meh.) oh, and also, speakin of sleep and tagging that with nutty dreams, i had a dream that i was dating (or at least holding hands with) kev-ed and A.P. (not austin powers... just mix him with michael phelps. i hope you get that. i don't wanna like say his name on here just cuz. andyway..). they would change every once in a while and i think at one point, i was holding austin's hand and erchap's hand and going into a control room for something and then i look over and kev-ed is where austin was. whack. and it was all normal. no romance or anything, just handholding. i guess here's where my beatles reference of the time kicks in "i wanna hold your hand."


• also, that same night, i had a dream where i think i was in a student body officer campain but i wasn't running, i was just helping everyone. i was in a craft store and Dakota was there and he was like "you running?" and i said "no." and then i think we held hands there too. it was a dream DREAM. latent content only, i promise. no manifest content whatsoever. (i also felt the need to toss in some psychology terminology for good measure.)
